Hk onyx studio 4 review11/28/2023 I did describe all this to HK support, and they concluded that it was a "known flaw" :/ which seems pretty awful given that these speakers were originally $500 a pop. Maybe that's just placebo, but either way I would love to hear if anyone else had the same issue. Everything lags and stutters, but anything with sustained notes or a rapid drum beat seems to make it much worse. The weird thing is that it seems certain songs will cause it to cut out more frequently. Sometimes the audio will cut out for whole seconds at a time. Doesn't matter how close or far the speaker is. Right now I have one speaker connected to my PC with aux, and that one works fine (although the aux cable quality seems slightly lower quality than a BT connection).Īs soon as I bring the second speaker into the equation via wireless pairing the stuttering starts up again. I've tried multiple setups all with the same issue - any form of wireless pairing is incredibly unstable, including bluetooth from my phone (with or without the HK app). The speakers have a mode that allows you to pair two of them together ("party mode"). The official HK connect app that is meant to be used with them has 1 star reviews, but I persisted.
